Daiwa Crossfire Sensispoon is a range of ultralight spinning rods developed specifically for fishing with small spoons and inline spinners. Their smooth, progressive action allows lightweight lures to be cast accurately while providing controlled, forgiving performance when playing fish. This balanced rod action is particularly useful when fishing with fine lines and small hooks, helping to absorb sudden lunges and maintain steady pressure throughout the fight.
The HMC+ carbon fibre blanks combine low weight with responsive, progressive bending characteristics. They load efficiently even with very light lures, making it easier to achieve accurate casts and reach greater distances with small spoons and spinners. As pressure increases during the fight, the blank bends progressively to cushion the movements of the fish and reduce the risk of hook pulls. Each rod features titanium oxide guides, an ergonomic reel seat and a comfortable EVA handle, providing practical equipment for regular ultralight spinning sessions.
The Crossfire Sensispoon range includes two 2-piece ultralight models. The 1.95 m version has a casting weight of 1–6 g, weighs 105 g and is suited to fishing with the smallest spoons and spinners. The 2.10 m model covers 2–10 g, weighs 110 g and offers additional length for casting slightly heavier lures. Their transport lengths are 101 cm and 111 cm respectively. Both models are designed for anglers who prefer a progressive rod action when casting lightweight metal lures and require controlled performance from the cast through to landing the fish.
