MADCAT Cat Plopper is a floating surface lure designed for active catfish fishing. Its 16 cm body and 55 g weight make it suitable for covering open water, river stretches and other areas where catfish may rise to attack prey near the surface.
The rotating tail starts working as soon as the lure is retrieved. It splashes, pushes water and creates strong turbulence, producing a clear acoustic and hydrodynamic signal that helps catfish locate the lure even in low visibility.
The dimpled body surface further disturbs the water during the retrieve. MADCAT Cat Plopper can be worked with a steady retrieve, while the speed can be adjusted to the activity of the fish and the conditions in the swim.
A strong through-wire construction runs through the body and is designed to withstand the pressure of fighting powerful catfish. The lure is fitted with two heavy-duty 4X treble hooks in size 1/0.
