Solvkroken Stingsilda sea jigs for light saltwater fishing in fjords and coastal waters

Solvkroken Stingsilda is a highly popular and effective small sea jig that has been trusted by Scandinavian anglers for years. The lure is available in both classic colour patterns and versions featuring a realistic scale finish, providing additional attraction in clear-water conditions. Thanks to its carefully engineered balance, Stingsilda maintains an excellent position in the water during short lifts and drops. It performs consistently even at slow retrieve speeds, effectively imitating a small baitfish that forms a natural food source for saltwater predators. A Small Jig with Big Potential Its compact size makes Stingsilda an excellent choice for light saltwater fishing in fjords, harbours and coastal waters. Stingsilda

A Small Jig with Big Potential

Its compact size makes Stingsilda an excellent choice for light saltwater fishing in fjords, harbours and coastal waters. It performs particularly well whenever predatory fish are feeding on small baitfish.

The lure is widely used for targeting cod, coalfish, mackerel and many other saltwater species commonly found in Norwegian and Northern European waters.

Effective Action on the Drop

One of the greatest strengths of the Stingsilda is its behaviour during the fall. The jig produces natural movements that closely resemble an injured or weakened baitfish, often triggering immediate strikes from nearby predators.

The combination of flashing reflections, a compact profile and stable swimming action allows anglers to fish effectively in both shallow and deeper water.

A Proven Norwegian Classic

Solvkroken Stingsilda is a proven small sea jig that combines simplicity, reliable action and versatility. It remains a trusted lure among anglers who specialise in light saltwater fishing and demand consistent results in a wide range of conditions.

Solvkroken
Solvkroken
The company Solvkroken was established in Skien in 1930. Spesial no. 40 immediately became a great success, and is still one of our best-selling saltwater jig lures. The business expanded and needed larger premises, and in 1954,
Sølvkroken moved to the centre of Arendal. Sea fishing became increasingly popular, and in 1976, the company built new and larger premises at Stoa industrial park right outside Arendal, where we now are located.
Solvkroken is currently a modern enterprise with approximately 60 employees. It is a leading total supplier of angling equipment. We are still manufacturing our lures and jigs at Stoa. Several of our employees are keen
anglers who continually develop new and improved products. The production of lures is, to a large extent, still a handicraft where decor, eye, hook and split ring are assembled manually.
