Penn Spinfisher VII Long Cast is a range of saltwater spinning reels designed for shore fishing and long-distance casting. The elongated spool and Leveline Oscillation System support even line lay and smooth line release during the cast.
The body and spool feature IPX5 sealing, which helps limit water ingress into the gearbox and drag system. The Full Metal Body and sideplate help keep the CNC Gear System with its brass main gear in proper alignment under heavy loads.
The reels are equipped with an HT-100 drag system with carbon fibre washers and a 5+1 sealed stainless steel bearing system. The range includes 5500 and 7500 models, which differ in spool capacity, weight, gear ratio and maximum drag.
