The Black Cat Mega Offset Hook is the perfect hook for casting out soft lures with the spinning rod in weedy and obstacle-ridden waters and retrieving the lure without snagging thanks to the internal hook. An extra-long spiral holder (shad screw) is mounted on the hook ear, which ensures a secure hold even for large and heavy soft lures and prevents the lure from tearing out.
The Mega Offset Hook comes standard in one size (12/0) and three weights: 10g, 15g and 20g. The lead, which is fixed to the hook shank, acts like a keel and allows the lure to be retrieved very steadily. Also, during a spin stop the lure does not simply fall headlong to the bottom, but slowly tumbles downwards right in front of the catfish’s mouth.
