The G.CAT XTREME series is Dragon’s first complete range of catfish rods designed specifically for fishing with artificial lures, combining exceptional power with low weight, excellent balance and high lure sensitivity.
Developed together with Dragon team anglers specialising in catfish fishing, the range includes rods for spinning, vertical fishing and trolling. The vertical and trolling models are available with two different guide and reel-seat configurations, allowing the rod setup to be matched to the chosen fishing technique.
G.CAT XTREME blanks are manufactured using Super Tight Wind® (S.T.W.) technology. A fully computer-controlled production process enables extremely precise and tight winding of graphite mats without the need for sanding. This allows numerous thin layers to be applied over a very slim mandrel, creating thick-walled blanks engineered to withstand the heavy loads associated with catfish fishing.
