The DUO Bay Ruf Manic Fish 99 is the upsized evolution of the Manic Fish 88, developed to extend casting range and increase visual presence while maintaining the signature “Manic Move” concept. Designed for modern seabass fishing, it combines a slim silhouette with a heavier fixed-weight setting to cover more water efficiently from both shore and boat.
At 99 mm and 16.2 g, the lure delivers outstanding casting distance and stable flight performance, even in windy coastal conditions. Despite the increased weight, it remains a shallow-range search bait, working just beneath the surface and targeting active fish in the upper layer.
Manic Move – Tight Rolling Micro-Vibration
The buoyancy, weight distribution and body shape have been precisely tuned to create a pure tight rolling action. There is no wide wobble or sinusoidal swimming. The subtle micro-pulsation is highly effective in pressured waters, stimulating the lateral line of seabass without overwhelming them.

Irregular & S-Curve Action
Through twitches and short rod inputs, the lure produces an irregular baitfish-like reaction near the surface. Increasing retrieve speed can generate an S-curve swimming track, enabling anglers to adapt presentation to current conditions and fish behaviour.
