Fish Arrow Flash-J Shad Slim 5 SW is the saltwater version of the slim 5 in (12.7 cm) shad. It has been developed for fishing with weighted rigs and for presenting the lure close to the bottom, where many saltwater predators feed.
Unlike the standard Flash-J Shad Slim 5, the lower section of the SW version does not contain salt. Its construction is designed for use with jig heads and other rigs that use additional weight.
Saltwater shad for weighted rigs and bottom presentations
An internal reflector is built into the body, producing flashes as the lure moves and imitating light reflecting from the sides of a small baitfish. The absence of salt in the lower part of the body also helps highlight the lure's colour and the flashing effect of the reflector.
The slim profile and shad-style tail work well when the lure is retrieved just above the bottom, allowed to fall or worked at a steady pace. Fish Arrow Flash-J Shad Slim 5 SW is intended primarily for saltwater spinning and for targeting fish feeding in the lower layers of the water.
