Guideline Fario CDC WF is a floating fly line designed for trout fishing with dry flies and nymphs. Its low diameter reduces air resistance, helps the line cut through wind and supports controlled presentation of long leaders.
A relatively short front taper is combined with a longer belly and back taper to promote stable loop formation and make aerial corrections easier. This profile is also useful when making high back casts over obstacles or casting from lower positions such as a boat or float tube.
The line features a very slick coating, a braided multifilament core with 12 lb strength and small factory-made loops at both ends. Head length ranges from 11 to 12.5 m. Total length is 25 m in line weights #2–#4 and 27.5 m in line weight #5.
