Lightweight fly rod for dry fly and nymph fishing

Guideline LPX Tactical 905 is a single-hand fly rod measuring 9 ft and rated AFTM #5, designed for versatile trout fishing with dry flies and nymphs. Its fast action with progressively deeper flex provides sensitivity at shorter distances, while the lower sections of the blank engage more as the rod is loaded. The blank is built with C.A.P M4.0 technology, combining carbon fibres laid at different angles with unidirectional carbon layers. The construction is designed to provide low weight, stability and smooth performance during both casting and fish fighting. The blank action also helps protect fine tippets. The rod features a Half Wells grip made from high-quality cork, a reel seat with a premium wood insert and Tactical logo, and titanium stripper guides with zirconia inserts. Lightweight single-leg guides with a PVD coating are also used. The model is 274 cm long, has a 4-piece construction and weighs 71 g. The recommended head weight is 11–13 g / 170–200 grains, while the transport length is 80 cm. A rod bag and a rigid transport tube are included.
