Guideline NOVA Black is a series of aluminium fly reels designed using recycled raw materials. The construction features upgraded exterior aluminium components, while alloy has replaced polymer in selected parts without significantly increasing overall reel weight.
The optimized carbon drag system is tailored to the different reel sizes. A new rear fixing drag plate improves drag stability, while wave springs help maintain more consistent drag pressure during a fish fight.
The spool uses latticed spoke facets and vertical cross arms to strengthen its structure. The reel also features a built-in counterbalance that helps reduce the number of additional components.
According to the manufacturer, NOVA is free from single-use plastics and is supplied with reel cases made from recycled 600D fabric and recycled packaging. The series is produced in sizes #46, #79 and #810, with spare spools available for all three sizes.
