Hunter Bromba are compact surface lures designed primarily for river fishing for chub and asp. Worked on or just below the surface, they create a visible wake and allow precise presentation in areas where fish are feeding close to the top.
Bromba works particularly well on small and medium-sized rivers, around protruding rocks, submerged obstacles, current seams and other places where the flow changes direction. The lure can be worked across the current, allowing the river flow to carry it naturally towards likely holding spots.
On larger rivers, an effective approach is to cast across the flow and retrieve the lure on a tight line along groynes and rocky margins. Keeping the rod tip high helps maintain the lure close to the surface and gives better control over its path through areas where chub and asp are likely to strike.
The Bromba range includes several sizes as well as floating and sinking versions, making it possible to adapt the presentation to current strength, water depth and fish activity. During surface takes, it is often better to wait until the weight of the fish is felt before striking.

Hunter is a Polish fishing lure brand with roots in handcrafted lure making. Production of Hunter lures began in 2009, while Hunter Polska was established in 2010.
The Hunter range includes a wide selection of spinning lures designed for different predatory fish. It includes lures for asp, trout, chub, ide, pike and zander, as well as small surface lures, river models, lipless lures and jerkbaits.
Individual series are developed for specific fishing styles and conditions – from subtle presentations with small chub and trout lures, through surface fishing for asp, to heavier lures for pike and zander. This makes it possible to choose a Hunter lure for rivers, lakes or Trout Area fisheries.
