Lucky John 3D Makora Shad Tail is a slender soft lure with the realistic profile of a small baitfish. The range includes 76 mm (3 in) and 100 mm (4 in) sizes, allowing the lure to be matched to perch, zander and pike as well as the size of the natural forage present in the venue.
The tapered body ends in a paddle tail that produces a clear action even at a slow retrieve. The tail remains active during the fall, making Makora Shad Tail suitable for both steady retrieves and classic lift-and-drop presentations close to the bottom.
Realistic 3D detailing and carefully defined body features help maintain the natural outline of a small fish. A holographic element reflects light as the lure moves and produces flashes similar to those created by the scales of an escaping baitfish.
Makora Shad Tail can be mounted on a standard jig head and worked with short lifts followed by controlled drops. This presentation is well suited to drop-offs, channels, underwater humps and other areas regularly used by zander and perch.
