Lucky John Anira is a series of minnow lures designed primarily for perch and pike fishing. Their compact profile, pronounced action and neutral buoyancy make them suitable for covering shallow and medium-depth areas in lakes, reservoirs and slower sections of rivers.
Anira remains stable even at a slow retrieve. The lure can be worked steadily, with short changes of speed or with a twitching presentation. During a pause, it stays close to the selected depth, giving following predators more time to strike.

On a constant retrieve, Anira produces a stable and clearly noticeable action, making it suitable for systematically searching the water. A slower pace works well when the fish are less active, while a faster retrieve helps cover a larger area efficiently.

For flats, bays and weed edges
Anira minnows can be worked above submerged vegetation, along weed edges, close to reeds, across rocky flats and around sunken cover. They also perform well in gently flowing water, where stable action and the ability to hold the lure at a selected depth are important.
The internal MCS system supports casting performance and stabilises the weight inside the lure. It helps reach more distant spots and allows the minnow to be worked confidently with both a steady retrieve and a more aggressive twitching action.
Two sizes with different running depths
Lucky John Anira 69SP measures 6.9 cm, weighs 8 g and runs to approximately 1.2 m. The smaller model is well suited to perch fishing and to pike feeding on smaller prey.
Lucky John Anira 89SP measures 8.9 cm, weighs 13 g and reaches a depth of approximately 1.8 m. Its larger profile and deeper running depth make it suitable for slightly deeper areas and more targeted pike fishing.
Natural colour patterns are a good choice in clear water and for cautious fish. More contrasting finishes can be effective in reduced visibility, overcast conditions and during periods of active feeding.
Lucky John
