Lucky John Sandworm is a range of saltwater soft lures designed to imitate marine worms and other elongated organisms living close to the seabed. The slim body and natural presentation can attract predatory fish as well as other species feeding on small marine invertebrates.
The lure is intended primarily for saltwater fishing. It is well suited to working around harbours, breakwaters, rocky shorelines, sandy bays and other inshore areas where fish search for worms and small bottom-dwelling prey.
The elongated, flexible body moves with gentle lifts, subtle rod-tip vibrations and slow movements along the bottom. Sandworm does not require aggressive action. Short movements followed by pauses are often enough to keep the lure presented naturally within the fish’s feeding zone.
Lucky John Sandworm can be rigged on a small jig head, a weighted single hook or a drop-shot setup. The rigging method should be matched to the depth, current strength and bottom structure so that the lure retains a natural and unrestricted action.

When fishing near the bottom, the lure can be worked with short hops, slowly dragged or left motionless for longer periods. This restrained presentation can imitate a worm washed from the substrate or moving between stones, sand and vegetation.
The soft material is infused with a strong Squid attractant. The squid scent adds another stimulus during slow retrieves and extended pauses, when fish have more time to inspect and taste the lure before taking it.
The 50 mm (2 in) version presents a small food item and is suitable for subtle fishing when smaller prey dominates. The 100 mm (4 in) model creates a more noticeable profile and can be used to target larger fish in deeper water or stronger current.
Lucky John Sandworm is supplied in packs of 24 in the 50 mm (2 in) size and packs of 15 in the 100 mm (4 in) size. The colour can be selected according to water clarity, bottom type and the natural food present in the fishing area.

Lucky John wobblers include small models for trout, chub and perch, as well as larger lures designed for pike and zander. Depending on their construction, they can be retrieved steadily, worked with sharp twitches or used to explore deeper parts of the water column.
The range is complemented by inline spinners and spoons suitable for fishing in current, still waters and trout fisheries. Different sizes and profiles make it possible to choose a lure for slow presentations as well as faster searching retrieves.
Lucky John also offers a limited selection of spinning rods, which form a small addition to the brand’s extensive lure range.
The Lucky John range includes lures for light perch and trout fishing, classic jigging for zander and more powerful spinning for pike. When choosing a lure, it is worth considering the fishing depth, retrieval speed, size of the natural prey and current activity of the fish.
