Mustad Micro jig heads are designed for fishing with small soft lures and light spinning techniques. The compact hook is made from fine, resilient wire, making it well suited to delicate soft plastics.
Jig heads for small soft lures and light spinning
Two small barbs positioned on opposite sides of the hook shank help keep the lure securely in place and reduce twisting around the hook. This is particularly useful when rigging small and soft plastic lures.
The hook features an UltraPoint point that is machine formed, chemically sharpened and additionally hardened. The slightly flattened, teardrop-shaped lead head is positioned in relation to the hook shank so that even subtle rod movements are transferred quickly to the lure. The position of the line eye also helps maintain an effective hooking angle.
Mustad Micro jig heads are suitable not only for light spinning. Their compact design also allows them to be used as jigs for ice fishing.
