Airdrive design with power gearing.
The combination of DAIWA's Airdrive design concept and MQ body construction ensures unprecedented lightness and sensitivity during use. The lightweight Airdrive rotor made of Zaion V material shifts the balance to the lower unit of the reel, allowing you to fish longer without fatigue and achieving greater sensitivity. The combination of the Airdrive rotor and a hollow Airdrive bail with an optimized bail arm noticeably improves line management and reduces the risk of line tangling on the bail area. The Twist Buszre's optimized line entry angle at the line roller also creates less twist and friction during cranking, significantly reducing the risk of tangles, especially with thin lines and during windy conditions.
The oversized Tough Digigear MQ drive gear with oversized gear teeth ensures direct power transmission under load, is extremely resilient and is torsion resistant firmly embedded in the MQ reel body made of Zaion V material. The lightweight Airdrive spool has been improved at the spool edge to reduce friction during casting and improved casting distance.
The ATD Type-L drag starts up smoothly without usual higher inertia at the start and releases the set drag power instantly. An optimal and very durable reel for lure fishing for perch, zander, pike and trout.
