Savage Gear Wire Crimps

Savage Gear Wire Crimps are brass crimp sleeves designed for making fishing wire leaders and traces. These practical accessories allow anglers to secure the ends of wire leader material without tying knots. They are particularly useful for anglers who prefer making their own pike fishing leaders and predator fishing rigs, allowing them to prepare traces according to their preferred fishing techniques and tackle configurations.

The crimp sleeves are manufactured from brass with a black nickel-plated finish. Savage Gear recommends them for use with Raw49, Carbon49 and Blood49 wire leader materials. When combined with suitable crimping pliers, the sleeves can be compressed around the wire to create a secure mechanical connection. Selecting the correct sleeve size for the wire material is important when preparing fishing leaders and attaching terminal tackle.

Savage Gear Wire Crimps are available in four sizes: S (1.0 mm), M (1.2 mm), L (1.4 mm) and XL (1.6 mm). The different sizes provide options for working with various wire leader materials and preparing different types of fishing traces. Each pack contains 100 crimp sleeves, making them a practical choice for anglers who regularly make their own wire leaders for pike and other predatory fish.
