Shimano Catana GX Spinning Tele is a series of telescopic spinning rods designed for mobile fishing and convenient transport. The telescopic construction makes the rods easy to carry between fishing spots and quick to prepare for use. The series is suitable for spinning on rivers, canals, lakes, in harbours and on urban waters, where compact transport dimensions can be especially useful.
The blanks are made from Full Carbon and reinforced with Diaflash technology in the lower section. This construction helps reduce blank twisting under load, supporting stable performance during casting and while playing fish. All models in the series feature a Moderate-Fast action, combining responsive blank performance with a more progressive response under load and making the rods suitable for a range of spinning techniques.
The rods are fitted with Fuji Stainless Steel K-Type guides suitable for use with both monofilament and braided line. A Shimano VSS-style reel seat provides secure reel mounting, while the cork handle gives the series a practical and traditional finish.
