Siek Gupik is a small 3 cm (1.2 in) lure designed primarily for river spinning. Its strong, easy-to-feel action makes it particularly effective for chub, ide and perch, as well as trout. The range includes both floating and sinking versions, allowing anglers to match the lure to the water depth, current and preferred retrieve.
Strong action in a compact lure
Despite its small size, the Gupik produces a pronounced action that can be clearly felt through the rod. This makes it well suited to river fishing, where a lure needs to maintain stable movement in flowing water. It can be retrieved steadily or allowed to work with the current when targeting chub and ide around typical river holding areas.
Floating and sinking versions
The floating version is a good choice for shallower sections and for keeping the lure higher in the water. Sinking models provide greater control over running depth and make it easier to reach fish holding deeper. From surface lures to deep-running models
The Siek range is highly varied. It includes small surface and insect-style lures such as Smyk and Osa, river lures for chub, ide and trout, as well as larger models intended for pike and zander. Lures for chub, trout, asp and larger predators
The Siek range includes models developed for particular species and fishing techniques. A wide choice of sizes, buoyancy types and running depths makes Siek lures suitable for both rivers and stillwaters. The range includes models for conventional spinning, fishing in stronger current, working close to the surface and covering deeper areas. Some of the larger models can also be used for trolling.
