Strike Pro Guppie Jr is a range of compact sinking jerkbaits designed for pike fishing. The lures measure 4.3 in (11 cm), feature a bulky body and a replaceable tail that affects their presentation in the water. The range includes both Standard and Shallow versions, allowing different depths to be covered without changing lure size.
The profiled body gives Guppie Jr a rolling side-to-side action and makes the lure clearly expose its flanks during the retrieve. It responds well to short jerks and rod twitches, but can also be worked more slowly with pauses between movements. Changing the retrieve rhythm allows you to create tighter or wider lateral movements.
Two sinking versions for different fishing depths
The standard Strike Pro Guppie Jr weighs 70 g and works at a depth of approximately 1.5–3 m, making it suitable for drop-offs, deeper flats and open water. The lighter Guppie Jr Shallow weighs 58 g and runs at around 0.5–1.5 m, making it better suited to fishing over vegetation, shallow flats and shallow bays.
