For general spinning most anglers choose X-Braid Upgrade X8 or Upgrade X4. X8 casts further, X4 is tougher.
What is the difference between X4 and X8 braids?
X4 is stiffer and more abrasion-resistant. X8 is smoother, quieter and gives longer casts.
Can I use YGK X-Braid in salt water?
Yes. Rinse the line with fresh water after each saltwater trip.
How do I match PE rating to lure weights?
PE 0.6–1.0 for light spinning, PE 1.0–1.5 for pike/zander, PE 2.0+ for heavy lures and jigging.
