Lucky John Flat John is a series of suspending lures designed primarily for pike and perch fishing. Two sizes with different weights and running depths make it possible to match the lure to the size of the prey, the depth of the water and the activity of the fish.
The suspending action allows Flat John to remain close to its working depth when the retrieve is paused. Instead of quickly rising or sinking, the lure stays in the strike zone for longer, giving following predators more time to approach and attack.
Flat John can be fished with a steady retrieve, changes of speed or short accelerations followed by clear pauses. The stop is often the key moment, particularly when pike and perch are following the lure without immediately committing to a strike.

Lucky John is best known for its wide range of spinning lures designed for perch, zander, pike, trout and other predatory fish. The range includes soft lures, wobblers, inline spinners and spoons that can be matched to different venues, fishing depths and retrieval styles.
