Hunter Insect is a range of small floating surface lures designed primarily for asp and chub. Their main purpose is to imitate insects on the water, making them particularly effective when fish are feeding in the upper layer.
One of the most effective ways to fish the Insect is to let it drift freely on a slack line. The lure then rests on the surface and imitates a helpless insect carried by the current. Its visible legs add to the natural appearance of the presentation.
When retrieved on a tighter line, the Insect creates a distinct wake across the surface. Its tail action disturbs the water and produces a noticeable surface trail that can provoke aggressive strikes. The working depth of the range is approximately 0–0.3 m.
The lures measure 2.6 cm and weigh 1 g. Their floating design makes them especially well suited to delicate surface presentations when fish are actively taking insects from the top.

Hunter is a Polish fishing lure brand with roots in handcrafted lure making. Production of Hunter lures began in 2009, while Hunter Polska was established in 2010.
