Hunter Osa is a range of small floating insect-style lures designed for fishing close to the surface. Their shape and presentation imitate small insects appearing on or near the water’s surface.
The range includes two different types of action. One version is worked across the surface, creating a visible wake, while the other dives below the surface during the retrieve. This allows the presentation to be matched to current conditions and the way fish are feeding.
Osa measures 2.5 cm and weighs 1 g. Its compact size and floating design make it particularly well suited to delicate presentation in the upper layer of the water.
During the retrieve, it is worth making sure the line does not stick to the surface. This helps the lure retain its natural action and makes it easier to control.
Hunter Osa lures are hand-painted, so the product photos are for reference only and the colour or finish of individual lures may vary slightly.
Hunter is a Polish fishing lure brand with roots in handcrafted lure making. Production of Hunter lures began in 2009, while Hunter Polska was established in 2010.
The Hunter range includes a wide selection of spinning lures designed for different predatory fish. It includes lures for asp, trout, chub, ide, pike and zander, as well as small surface lures, river models, lipless lures and jerkbaits.
Individual series are developed for specific fishing styles and conditions – from subtle presentations with small chub and trout lures, through surface fishing for asp, to heavier lures for pike and zander. This makes it possible to choose a Hunter lure for rivers, lakes or Trout Area fisheries.
