Lucky John Vanrex Finesse Game II is a series of light spinning rods designed for fishing with small hard lures, inline spinners, spoons and soft plastics used with a variety of rigs. A split handle made from firm EVA provides a secure grip and good access to the blank. This construction makes it easier to animate lures with short movements of the rod tip and helps reduce hand fatigue during long sessions of active fishing.
The 1–5 g models are intended for the lightest hard lures, small spinners and compact soft plastics. They are available in lengths of 1.98 m / 6 ft 6 in and 2.13 m / 7 ft, weighing 87 and 96 g respectively. The shorter model provides greater freedom of movement, while the longer version helps with casting distance and line control over bankside obstacles.
The 3–9 g versions offer slightly greater versatility and are better matched to heavier spinners, hard lures and soft plastics. Available lengths of 2.13 m / 7 ft and 2.29 m / 7 ft 6 in make it possible to choose a rod for mobile river fishing or longer-range bank fishing on larger stillwaters.
The two-piece construction makes the rods easier to transport, while K-style guides with SIC inserts are suitable for use with thin monofilament and braided lines. A protective rod bag is included for storage and transport.
Lucky John Vanrex Finesse Game II includes models from 1.98 to 2.29 m / 6 ft 6 in to 7 ft 6 in, with casting weights of 1–5 g or 3–9 g and rod weights from 87 to 101 g. These are lightweight spinning rods for precise fishing with small hard lures, spinners and soft plastics.
