Lucky John Vanrex Micro Jig is a series of light spinning rods designed for fishing with micro jigs and small soft lures. Their sensitive construction, good balance and low weight make it easier to control delicate tackle during precise lure fishing.
A key feature of these rods is the white solid tip. Its flexible section helps load the blank smoothly when casting lightweight lures, while the contrasting colour makes its movement easier to observe. The tip also acts as an additional visual indicator of subtle bites.
The Medium-Fast action combines good sensitivity with a smooth, controlled response. It supports lures worked with short lifts, small hops or on the drop, while reducing the risk of an overly aggressive reaction when a fish takes a light presentation.

Vanrex Micro Jig 7 is 2.24 m / 7 ft 4 in long, has a casting weight of 2–7 g and a Light power rating. It weighs 88 g and has a transport length of 115 cm. Its additional length and higher casting range provide greater versatility and allow the use of slightly heavier lures.
Both models feature a two-piece construction for easier transport and storage. A protective rod bag is included to help protect the sections while travelling.

Lucky John is best known for its wide range of spinning lures designed for perch, zander, pike, trout and other predatory fish. The range includes soft lures, wobblers, inline spinners and spoons that can be matched to different venues, fishing depths and retrieval styles.
Soft lures make up the largest part of the Lucky John range. It includes classic paddle-tail lures, slim profiles for jigging, curly-tail grubs, fork-tail lures, worms and imitations of creatures living close to the bottom. Series such as Tioga, Joco Shaker, S-Shad Tail, Makora, Kubira and Hogy Hog allow anglers to select the right action and size for rivers, lakes and reservoirs.
Lucky John wobblers include small models for trout, chub and perch, as well as larger lures designed for pike and zander. Depending on their construction, they can be retrieved steadily, worked with sharp twitches or used to explore deeper parts of the water column.
