The Savage Gear Fury SG2 Inline Boat rods are designed for heavy-duty sea fishing from a boat. Their internal line routing through the blank reduces the number of external components and is well suited to targeting powerful saltwater predators.
The strong blanks have a moderate-fast action and are built to handle heavy lures while providing the power needed to fight halibut and large cod. The more forgiving tip helps absorb sudden loads when fishing with braided line.
The series includes 2.36 m models rated at 150–400 g and 200–600 g. The 24/30T carbon blanks are fitted with a strong DPS reel seat, an X Gimbal butt cap and a SeaGuide ITHT tip component.
