Savage Gear SGS2 Eging is a range of sea rods designed for squid fishing with the eging technique. The available models are 2.59–2.64 m long, have Medium power, Fast action and are designed for Egi lures in sizes #2.5–#3.5 and PE #0.6–1.0 lines.The sensitive Egi blanks help detect delicate takes, while their progressive action supports quick hook setting and helps reduce the risk of pulling the lure from a squid’s tentacles. The rods also offer good casting performance.The blanks are made from high-modulus Toray carbon fibre. The rods are equipped with SeaGuide Gold Label reel seats, SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides, CCS Guide Setting and tough EVA handles. A rod bag is included.
