Mepps Aglia Long Heavy is a heavier version of the classic Aglia Long spinner, built for situations where a standard inline spinner is simply too light. The strongly weighted body helps you cast farther, keep the lure deeper and control it more effectively in strong current, deep water and places where fish feed far from the bank.
Heavy body and slim Aglia Long blade
The narrow Aglia Long blade works steadily in current and creates less drag than the wider blade of the classic Aglia. Combined with the heavy body, it gives a spinner that can be cast a long way, fished deeper and controlled better in fast water, channels and long downstream or cross-current retrieves.
