The Aglie Platium lures, as a basic model, are effective on any water and for any fish. Their metallic colour perfectly lures pike, especially in still waters, as well as trout. The red-coloured lure is a real “killer” of chub or perch. The green-coloured one may be recommended for ide. The blue-coloured one is excellent for both lake perch and pike in shallow bays. In shallow gravel and stone reefs chub and ide react well to this colour. Sometimes it works beautifully for asp as well. The Mepps Aglia Platium spinners stretched along the bands provoke evening and morning zanders to come to the feed in the shallows.
