Hunter Klakier is a lipless asp lure designed primarily for subtle fishing in rivers. It belongs to the group of surface-style asp lures commonly used when predators are feeding high in the water.
The Klakier is intended to be worked close to the surface. Its main purpose is a more delicate presentation, making it a good choice when asp are active near the top and a less aggressive approach is required.
Unlike heavier asp lures intended for deeper fishing, Klakier is focused on the upper layer of the water. Its lipless construction suits this style of river fishing and allows the lure to be kept high during the retrieve.
The current model measures 6 cm and weighs 6.5 g. Although it is classified as sinking, the recommended way to fish it is close to the surface.
Hunter Klakier lures are hand-painted, so the product photos are for reference only and the colour or finish of individual lures may vary slightly.
Hunter is a Polish fishing lure brand with roots in handcrafted lure making. Production of Hunter lures began in 2009, while Hunter Polska was established in 2010.
The Hunter range includes a wide selection of spinning lures designed for different predatory fish. It includes lures for asp, trout, chub, ide, pike and zander, as well as small surface lures, river models, lipless lures and jerkbaits.
Individual series are developed for specific fishing styles and conditions – from subtle presentations with small chub and trout lures, through surface fishing for asp, to heavier lures for pike and zander. This makes it possible to choose a Hunter lure for rivers, lakes or Trout Area fisheries.
