Lucky John Basara LBF ATG is a small floating minnow designed primarily for trout area fishing. Its slim baitfish profile allows it to be worked with a steady retrieve, brief changes of speed and subtle movements of the rod tip.
The ATG model is an updated version of the original Basara LBF. The magnetic casting system has been removed, while the standard treble hooks have been replaced by a lightweight single barbless hook. This setup complies with the rules used at many trout fisheries and makes unhooking fish quicker and easier.
Shallow action and controlled presentation
Basara LBF ATG runs to a depth of approximately 60 cm, making it suitable for fishing the upper layers, shallow swims and trout feeding close to the surface. Its floating design allows the lure to rise during pauses and helps it pass above weed or other submerged obstacles.
