Lucky John Yuga 50S is a compact sinking minnow designed primarily for targeting trout, chub and perch. The lure measures 5 cm (2 in), weighs 4.2 g (0.15 oz) and can be worked at depths of up to approximately 1 m (3.3 ft).
Its slim body produces a tight action with a small amplitude and remains stable in noticeable current. This makes the Yuga 50S suitable for fishing runs, channels, rocky banks and faster sections of rivers.
The sinking design allows the angler to control the working depth. After casting, the lure can be allowed to sink into the required water layer before being retrieved steadily or animated with short twitches and changes of pace.
The compact profile and 4.2 g weight support accurate casting towards the opposite bank, boulders, fallen trees and other likely holding areas. The lure can also be guided through deeper pockets that are difficult to reach with a small floating minnow.
