Lucky John Lugworm soft lures from the Salty Sensation range have a long, slender profile designed to imitate marine worms found naturally in coastal waters. They are intended primarily for saltwater fishing and can be presented close to the seabed, around rocks, over sandy areas, and near harbours or breakwaters.
The soft and flexible body responds to movements of the rig, gentle rod-tip action, and natural water flow. This allows the lure to be fished slowly without constant or rapid retrieval. Its natural shape is particularly useful when fish are feeding on small organisms close to the bottom.

Rigging and presentation
Lucky John Lugworm can be worked with short lifts, slowly dragged along the bottom, or paused between movements. It can be rigged on a light jig head, a weighted hook, a dropper rig, or a conventional saltwater bottom rig. The weight and rigging method should be matched to the depth, current, and seabed structure.
Around rocky ground, short controlled hops help keep the lure moving while reducing unnecessary contact with snags. Over sand, a slow retrieve with regular pauses keeps the lure close to the bottom and within reach of feeding fish.
Two sizes for different presentations
The smaller 2.5 inch / 6.3 cm version is supplied in packs of 24 and is suitable for lighter rigs and more subtle presentations. The larger 4.5 inch / 11.4 cm model is supplied in packs of 15 and creates a more visible profile, making it suitable for heavier rigging or stronger water movement.
