Lucky John Unagi Slug is a slim soft lure designed for delicate lifts, short rod-tip movements and controlled bottom presentations. Its segmented construction keeps the rear section mobile even with subtle animation, making it a useful option for cautious and inactive predators.
The body is divided into several flexible sections by narrow joints. This allows the tail to react to small movements of the rig, producing a gentle action during the fall, on the pause and when the lure is shaken almost in place. Such behaviour suits slow and precise fishing around individual holding spots.
Unagi Slug does not require a fast retrieve. It can be kept in the strike zone for longer by alternating short pulls with pauses. This approach works particularly well for perch and zander close to the bottom, along drop-offs, near vegetation and around submerged cover.
The soft material contains a shrimp scent that provides an additional stimulus during slow presentations. This can be useful when fish inspect the lure for longer or pick it up without a hard strike.

The range includes 76 and 89 mm versions, equivalent to 3 and 3.5 inches. The smaller size is supplied in packs of 7, while the larger model comes in packs of 5. Both sizes make it possible to match the lure to the available forage, fish activity and the chosen presentation.
Lucky John Unagi Slug is available in several colour patterns that can be matched to water clarity, bottom type and light conditions. Natural shades are well suited to clear water, while brighter options provide stronger visibility when conditions are more difficult.
