Black Cat Buster X is a range of durable reels designed for demanding catfish fishing. High line capacity, robust construction and a powerful drag system allow anglers to choose the right model for both lighter and extremely heavy catfish setups.
The reels feature an aluminium body, durable graphite rotor and a double-anodized, CNC-machined aluminium spool. A stainless steel main shaft, brass pinion and zinc alloy gearing are designed to perform reliably under heavy loads.
The range uses 5+1 bearings and a 4.6:1 gear ratio. The multi-disc drag system provides a maximum drag of 16 kg in the 6500 and 8000 models and 22 kg in the largest 10000 model.
The titanium nitride-coated line roller helps reduce line twist during retrieval. The models also differ in line retrieve per handle turn: 97 cm for the 6500, 110 cm for the 8000 and 120 cm for the 10000.
Black Cat Buster X reels are available in sizes 6500, 8000 and 10000. The different sizes and drag capacities make it possible to match the reel to a wide range of powerful setups used for catfish fishing.
