Carp & Specialist Big Pit Reels
Big pit reels belong to a family of specialized reels designed for special tasks. Looking at them, one word comes to mind. Power. A characteristic feature of big pits is a very large spool that can accommodate a supply of line or braided line, suitable for long-distance fishing. A solution taken from sea reels - a shallow and wide spool combined with slow oscillation allow to minimize resistance during casting, which translates into the distance that we will be able to pass our set. The large spool is the perfect solution for fishing while transporting. Such fishing requires a lot of money while maintaining the durability of the gear. To achieve this, the most commonly used gears with a small ratio are used, and the appropriate winding is ensured by wide rotor arms in combination with a wide spool. Due to their intended use, big pit reels are equipped with high-force brakes, thanks to which they are not afraid of a duel with a thick carp or a powerful amur.
