CHUBBY BUG 35 is a small super shallow crankbait with an insect-inspired profile, designed for fishing fish feeding close to the surface.
The lure combines a realistic insect shape with side silicone appendages arranged on two levels. The upper appendages create a natural surface trail during a steady retrieve, while at rest they float on the water and move gently, imitating the wings of a struggling insect. They also add light resistance, improving lure feel and control during the retrieve.
The lower appendages imitate the legs or wings of a small insect working just below the surface. They react to current and the slightest water movement, producing subtle vibrations that can trigger chub, trout, perch and cautious black bass.
The weight transfer system helps achieve longer casts and stable swimming action without compromising the natural profile. The colour range is based on natural patterns inspired by beetles and hymenopteran insects.
