Preston Extremity SD – built for modern feeder fishing
The Preston Extremity SD has been developed for anglers who fish long and accurately with
method and cage feeders. It improves on the original Extremity series, which has become a favourite
choice for many of the world’s best feeder anglers, by adding new features that make every cast,
retrieve and fight more controlled.
Speed Drag for instant control in the fight
The standout upgrade is the Speed Drag system. With just half a turn of the front drag knob,
you can move from a locked spool for positive striking to a smoothly slipping drag that protects your
hooklength. This gives you instant control over hard-fighting carp, bream or barbel, even when you are
fishing at extreme range.
Worm Drive – smooth retrieve with heavy feeders
As with the previous versions, the Extremity SD uses a proven Worm Drive system.

The Preston Extremity SD has been developed for anglers who fish long and accurately with

Two perfectly balanced sizes – 520 and 620
The range consists of two models tailored to different feeder tasks:
- Extremity SD 520 – 7 bearings, gear ratio 4.6:1, line retrieve 84 cm,
spool capacity 0.26 mm / 150 m, weight 383 g. - Extremity SD 620 – 7 bearings, gear ratio 4.6:1, line retrieve 89 cm,
spool capacity 0.26 mm / 150 m, weight 411 g.
Choose the 520 for medium and long-range feeder work or step up to the 620 when you regularly fish
at extreme distance or use heavier feeders and larger diameter lines.
