Floating minnow lure for twitching – 5 cm and 7 cm sizes

SALMO Fanatic is a floating minnow lure designed for effective predator fishing in rivers and still waters. Its slim body profile and stable swimming action make it highly responsive to spinning techniques, especially twitching with short jerks and pauses. The series includes two sizes with different applications. The 5 cm version works shallow and is ideal for fishing along riverbanks, shallow areas and calmer river sections. The 7 cm model dives significantly deeper, allowing anglers to target drop-offs, channels and deeper holding spots where larger predators are often found. Best results are achieved with a varied retrieve: a few turns of the reel handle followed by a short pause and a light twitch of the rod tip. As a floating lure, Fanatic slowly rises during pauses, helping to guide the bait safely over structure and frequently triggering strikes at the moment of suspension.
