Daiwa 23 Emblem 45 SCW QD-OT is a Big Pit reel designed for long-range carp fishing. The 45 mm spool stroke combined with Slow Cross Wrap line lay and an aluminium ABS Longcast spool reduces line friction during the cast and supports long-distance performance.
The QDM drag system offers a wide range of precise adjustment, allowing the braking force to be quickly adapted to changing fishing and fighting conditions. The body and AIR ROTOR made from ZAION V provide a lightweight construction with high resistance to deformation.
The powerful DIGIGEAR II gearing and stainless steel main shaft provide efficient power transfer when retrieving heavy rigs from long distances. The folding aluminium handle with wooden knob is designed to reduce play and make transport easier.
The model has 4 bearings, a 4.9:1 gear ratio and retrieves 104 cm of line per handle turn. The main spool holds 350 m of 0.35 mm line, maximum drag power is 15 kg and the reel weighs 635 g. A deep spare spool with a capacity of 530 m of 0.35 mm line is also included.
