The X-ZIBIT Clonk Teaser rods are built around a strong 24T carbon blank, developed to deliver high durability and impressive lifting power. This construction helps anglers maintain control during sudden runs and demanding fights at short distances. The highly visible, sensitive tip works together with the powerful butt section to provide both reliable bite indication and the strength required for large catfish. The rods feature an ergonomic SeaGuide XSS reel seat with a double locking nut system, designed to keep the reel securely in place under heavy loads. The fighting grip is made from firm EVA foam and finished with an additional X-Wrap shrink tube covering for a secure, comfortable hold. These components make the rods easier to handle in the confined space of a boat and provide dependable control when presenting teaser lures vertically beneath the angler.
The MADCAT X-ZIBIT Clonk Teaser range includes three models measuring 1.80 m, 2.10 m and 2.40 m, allowing anglers to select the appropriate rod for their preferred fishing style and lure weight. The shortest 1.80 m version has a casting weight of 100–150 g, weighs 261 g and measures 95 cm when packed. The 2.10 m model offers a casting weight of 150–200 g, a weight of 312 g and a transport length of 110 cm. The most powerful 2.40 m version is rated for 200–250 g, weighs 373 g and has a transport length of 124 cm. All three rods feature a two-piece construction and medium-fast action. The shorter models are especially practical for fishing directly beneath the boat and situations requiring easy manoeuvrability, while the longer versions provide additional reach and greater power for heavier presentations. Combining a highly sensitive tip, strong carbon blank and secure reel seat, the X-ZIBIT Clonk Teaser series offers a practical solution for anglers targeting large catfish with specialised vertical fishing techniques.
