The Fortezza is an extremely sensitive rod with an extra fast action, specifically designed for jig fishing.
It is ideal for zander fishing with soft lures or lipless crankbaits and also for pike fishing with jerkbaits.
The rod blank is made of Japanese Toray prepeg carbon. Toray is the leading global manufacturer of premium carbon fiber. Thanks to the use of premium quality carbon fiber, the rod is very light but also super strong and sensitive.
The increased sensitivity is the most important feature of a rod that is specifically designed for zander fishing, because it puts the fisherman’s hand in direct contact with the lure, allowing him to feel even the weakest fish bite and also map the contour of the bottom.
The first part of the rod is reinforced with an extra carbon lair that is “X” woven at a 45° angle (Cross x Weave). This feature gives the rod incredible strength, which is very important when fighting a big fish. It allows the angler to play the fish much more safely and also control it better.
