Salmo Fatso 12 cm is a large sinking lure combining the characteristics of a hard lure and a jerkbait, designed primarily for pike fishing. Its bulky, laterally flattened body and distinctive erratic action allow the Fatso to be worked in several different ways and adapted to the activity of predatory fish.
The Fatso can be retrieved steadily, twitched with short rod movements or worked more aggressively like a classic jerkbait. It responds well to changes of speed and pauses, while its sinking body helps keep the lure in the feeding zone. The model is also suitable for trolling.
Salmo Fatso 12 cm in the Sinking version weighs 72 g and runs at approximately 1.7–2.5 m. Its sinking design makes it effective for covering deeper flats, weed edges, drop-offs and other areas where larger pike may be holding.
The 12 cm size creates a more pronounced presentation than the smaller Fatso models and is particularly useful when targeting larger predators or when fish are feeding on bigger prey. The new generation of Salmo Fatso is fitted with sharp and durable BKK treble hooks.
Salmo Fatso 12 cm is a powerful and versatile pike lure for active presentations. It can be jerked, twitched, retrieved steadily or trolled, making it suitable for a wide range of conditions and for effectively covering medium and greater depths.
